Whatsapp Will Soon Let You Change The Playback Speed Of Voice Messages – The social media platform has been adding various latest features to its app, and the latest additional feature to the app is playback speed options for voice messages. You will soon be able to fast-forward your voice messages in WhatsApp on your mobile devices.
Currently, the social media app does not offer the option to change the playback speed of voice messages. You must listen to your voice message at the default speed as that the option you have.
As spotted in a beta version of WhatsApp by WABetainfo, the company is working on a feature that enables you fast forward your voice messages, according to the available information, you will get three playback speed options for your voice messages. This will enable you to listen to your messages at your preference.
There are three new playback speed options that you will soon see in WhatsApp on your phone.
- 1x which plays your voice message 1 time faster
- 1.5 which plays your voice message 1.5 times faster
- 2x which plays your voice messages 2 times faster
You can’t use these options for reverse playback as WhatsApp does not let you play your voice messages in reverse. To use this new feature when it becomes available, you will need to play your voice messages and you will see the fast-forward option.
