Motorola is staging another comeback with its smart wristwatches, they won’t rely on Moto 360, the current owner of eBuy CE has revealed a trio of the Motorola smart wristwatches arriving in 2021.
None of the wristwatch appears to be a sequel of the moto360.
The first is a MotoG inspired by the Moto G which is due in June. Although the lone slide doesn’t reveal specs, the G looks to be an appropriately budget-oriented circular model with simple cases.
The moto watch could switch to a rectangular case with more than a little reminiscent of the Apple watch and a clear break from tradition.
The devices may likely use Wear OS, and they might use a newer chip version like the snapdragon wear 4100 when CE brands and eBuy now laud their partnership with Qualcomm on “premium website”
The new watches aren’t guaranteed to match expectations they could offer serious competition to other OS makers, like, Mobvoi of Ticwatch fame and fossil.
The OS is still relatively small compared to what Samsung and Apple offer, which gives room for relative newcomers to flourish.
It is nice to know that android devices are putting in effort to manufacture smartwatch devices for people who can’t afford Apple or prefer the android smartwatches
