  • Open G-mail via your web browser using the link www.gmail.com, open the page, and login to your g-mail account.
  • Click on the Settings icon (the gear looking one) and select “Settings” which will bring up a new page.
  • Click on the “Accounts and Import tab” and choose to “Import Mail and contacts”. Doing this creates a pop-up of mail addresses or platforms you could import data or information from.
  • Choose or Enter your Yahoo email address you’d like to import from and click on “Continue”.
  • For verification purposes, you will be asked to log-in to a yahoo mail account, log- in, agree to continue, and close the Yahoo email window.
  • The former page will come up with options asking you to “Start Import”, click on it and choose “OK”.

 In case you want to import just contacts, follow the same G-mail log-in process and click on “Gmail” just at the left corner after logging in. A menu will come up where you will have to select “Contacts”, follow the steps from there and when a new menu comes up
