Tubi being a free streaming service that’s got a large library of movies and TV shows now has a new upgrade in its services rendered.
It’s about to start making its own movies and not totally being dependant on other shows and movies. It’s going into original programming.
Tubi Potentially Producing Its Own TV Show
At the Deutsche Bank Media, Internet, and Telecom Conference, held in March 2021, Fox CFO (Chief Financial Officer) Steve Tomsic has stated that Tubi might soon see its own original TV shows and movies.
During his statement at the conference, Tomsic stated Tubi won’t be going after expensive shows, referring to the big-budget smash series like Marvel’s WandaVision on Disney+ or Netflix’ popular, post-apocalyptic, blizzard-romp, Snowpiercer. Tomsic has confirmed that we should expect “cost-effective titles”.
What New Content Will Be Available on Tubi?
For now, we really can’t say. Tubi made its intention clear but it has not finalized anything yet. Just keep calm on the Tubi originals for now and enjoy its other services till we can confirm when its originals will be available.
Although, the quality is going to be top-notch considering it’s a Fox Owned subsidiary. Fox is an influential mass media producer on earth.
