WhatsApp tends to get new features and upgrades day by day. The latest feature of this app is the ability to make voice and video calls using the app web and allows WhatsApp users to secure their conversations with their face.
A WhatsApp tracker site WABetainfo claims that the biometric feature of this messaging app is on the edge. WhatsApp already had a feature that allowed you to protect your messages and chat through your fingerprint.
This feature allows WhatsApp users to unlock their apps with their fingers. So far so good the latest feature is unlocking your app using your face.
WhatsApp To Support Face Unlock
Pick an Android device such as Google pixel 4 use specialized sensors that result in accurate 3D facial recognition. WhatsApp tends to bring in biometric authentication for it’s users to keep their privacy top notch.
The new settings are based on Android’s Biometric Prompt API, which lets apps use face scanners and fingerprint sensors for authentic purposes.
When will this feature come out to users who admit is yet to make its way to the Android Beta version of this app? We don’t know for sure but the face unlock will surely be out soon.
Ability To Join Group Calls
This is also a feature of WhatsApp. It gives the ability to join a call if you’ve missed it as far as the call is still on. This feature is still under development.
