Today, TikTok revealed which users are been selected to join. During the second week of January, TikTok opened applications for its incubator program meant to heighten and magnify the voices of Black creators.

The Inaugural Class of TikTok’s Black Creatives Program has been announced, after processing over 5000 applications, the video sharing platform who partnered MACRO, to provide education and resources for a handful of Black creators, has selected the lucky 100 artists that get to join its three-month creator incubator program

“We were so thrilled by the participation from the community and will continue to cheer on all creators and artists who submitted videos. We are excited about the TikTok for Black Creatives program, and further growing and developing an already flourishing Black creative community on TikTok.”

The program is dedicated to enable black creators expand on their internet brand and presence, as well as connecting them to new opportunities.

Although TikTok did not release a complete list of names to the public, we do know that the 100 users have contacted and that their content covers various categories: arts, beauty, food, entertainment, music, fitness, education.

The program also would be anchoring a keynote of presentation entitled “Manifestation | Envision Your Future” by actress and entrepreneur Gabrielle Union. The social media video sharing platform boast that the program will be accompanied by more black influencers in celebration of the black history month
