SESIS Login – The department of education has finally developed a secured, web-based system which is designed basically for students with special needs. This web-based system is known as SESIS—special education student information.
SESIS was first implemented in 2011 to make sure that the services of your educational programs are rendered to and received by special needs students.
It is a program that supports users in completing special education workflow process. There are many useful resources that are available to help school teachers and principals make transitions to SESIS.
SESIS Advanced Features
SESIS helps eliminate the need for much of manual process of copying, faxing, and using courier services for the exchange of information between individuals involved in the workflow process.
For example; when a SESIS authorized user updates a case in the SESIS platform, the student record is automatically updated allowing all involved parties in the process to see the most current information.
SESIS has an advanced features which includes;
- Reliable messaging system.
- Accurate calendar.
- Free access to a students information.
- Internal communication system.
- And a reporting capability.
SESIS messages can be forwarded to another email account but this is only possible when you activate the message forwarding option in the SESIS platform.
How to Login SESIS
There are several ways SESIS users can log into their SESIS account, they include; via a mobile web browser and via a PC web.

Login SESIS via Mobile Device Web Browser
Logging into a SESIS account via a mobile web browser is very easy and takes not less than 10 minutes to login. To login SESIS using your mobile web browser, follow the steps below;
- Open your mobile web browser – chrome or Mozilla Firefox.
- Type the SESIS login URL in your mobile web browser.
- Enter your department of education DOE user ID.
- Enter your password.
- Click the green Sign in tab to complete the login process.

Login SESIS via PC web
To login SESIS using your personal computer web browser, follow the steps below;
- Open your PC web browser.
- Enter the SESIS login URL – sesis.nycenet.edu.
- Click the SESIS login section.
- Leave the school ID field at default.
- Enter your DOE user ID.
- Enter your password in the user ID text field.
- Click the orange sign in tab to access the SESIS account.
SESIS offers a great opportunity for administrator’s and special education coordinator’s to monitor special education programs in a productive manner.
However, SESIS has no mobile app for android and iOS devices. For now you can only login SESIS via a PC web or a mobile web browser.
