1. Tap open the Instagram app and view your profile
2. Click the gear icon in the upper right corner, to open Settings within Instagram
3. Navigate down to the bottom. Click “Add Account”
4. At the bottom of the page, click “Sign Up”
5. Thereafter, you will see the option to use Facebook for signup or you can choose Sign Up with Phone or Email. In case, you are already using Facebook, for your primary account, you will be forced to sign up with your phone or email.
6. If you choose “Sign Up with Phone or Email”, fill in your Phone or Email. Note; you can’t use the same email for your second Instagram account, thus you may opt to use your phone number instead.
7. In case you use an email, you will be required to confirm your Instagram account later by opening the email and choosing to confirm your email address
8. In case you use a phone number, you will be prompted to fill in the verification number, that will be sent immediately to your iPhone. After the verification code has been entered, click “Next”
9. Here, you can now add a profile photo, your name, and create a password. After this has been done, click “Next”
10. This step requires you to create your Username. This will act as your Instagram handle (@ Username). This can always be changed later

• Your username should be unique

• If your username is not unique, there will be a grey X
• If your username is unique, there will be a green checkmark
• A name will automatically be suggested by Instagram depending on the name you provided in the last step. You can click the circular arrow next to the checkmark or X to have Instagram provide another random username

11. After you have selected an Instagram username and handle that you desire, click “Next”
12. Thereafter, you will quizzed if you want to connect to Facebook. In case your other Instagram account is already linked to Facebook ( or if you don’t want to link your new account to Facebook), click “Skip”.
13. Your contacts will then be searched by Instagram to see if anyone in your contact has an Instagram you might desire to follow. You either click “Search for Contacts or skip”
14. The next step is the “Discover People Page”. Follow anyone you wish to and click “Done”
15. There you have it!!! Instagram will now take you to your new home page and your other Instagram account will be connected to this new one automatically.

1. Tap open the Instagram app and view your profile
2. Click the gear icon in the upper right corner to open Settings on Instagram
3. Navigate down to the bottom. Click “Add Account”
4. Sign in to your account. Click Login
5. If your other account is linked to Facebook, use Facebook to login. That’s it your done.
